LSA: Mrs Low
Croeso, welcome to Dosbarth Abermawr 3|4.
Below you will find key information, along with work and learning experiences that we are proud to share with you.
As part of this topic, we will be learning about the river Cleddau and how we can look after it. Through a variety of learning activities, we'll be exploring our local rivers from source to sea and building our knowledge and understanding. It's going to be interesting to be able to explore our local environment and partake in lots of outdoor activities.
This term we will be exploring the inquiry question 'What lessons can history teach us?' Through this inquiry, we will immerse ourselves in the history of of the Celts before moving onto exploring aspects of innovative technology which hindered the Celts.
In line with the curriculum’s emphasis on developing ethical, informed citizens, the children will learn about sustainability through activities focused on energy, waste, and recycling. They’ll understand how each of us can contribute to protecting our planet, gaining practical skills and knowledge on how we can live responsibly. This learning context will help the children become ambitious, capable learners, ready to play an active role in building a sustainable future for Wales and the wider world.
