Uniform

The wearing of school uniform, although optional for primary pupils, is strongly encouraged at Waldo Williams Primary School, to increase the children’s sense of belonging and identity. We would ask that you please support the ethos of the school by sending your children in school uniform. Uniform is available to buy, please contact the school for further information. 

Our school uniform consists of the following: - 

Purple jumper/cardigan 

White shirt/polo shirt/school P.E. t-shirt 

Grey trousers/joggers/skirt/pinafore 

Black shoes/trainers 

All clothing needs to be clearly marked with your child’s name, to assist with identification and limit lost property.  

Once they are full time in school, all children are encouraged to wear suitable clothes for P.E. and swimming. This consists of T-shirt and shorts and appropriate footwear for Games outside and appropriate swimwear, towel, swimming cap and goggles for swimming.  We have school t-shirts available to buy for £2 in the foyer.

For Health and Safety reasons the wearing of any earrings larger than a stud is not permitted under any circumstances. We discourage the wearing of jewellery other than stud earrings and a small watch. 

All jewellery must be removed for all P.E. activities.
