Our Home and Beyond
Our Home and Beyond is our new spring term inquiry question where the children will learn about where they live and the wider world around them. We will explore our school and local area, talking about what makes our home special. The children will also learn about looking after the environment and how small actions can help care for our planet, helping them to understand how we are connected to the wider world.

Darllen | Reading
Please listen to your child read as often as possible, 3 or more times a week would be great! Going over phonic sounds, flash cards or a few pages of a book is best. Our aim is to promote a love of reading. Reading books will be changed on a Monday. New letter sounds and flash cards will be added as and when your child is ready for new ones to practice. Please comment in their reading journals to let us know how they are getting on. Send your child’s reading book and journal to school every day so that they can also read with us during the week. Home learning activities will be sent out at the beginning of each term.

HWB is a website and collection of online tools for you to complete set work and use independently to enhance your learning.
