Croeso! Welcome to Dosbarth Broad Haven.
Below you will find key information, along with work and learning experiences that we are proud to share with you.

This term, our class will be exploring the enquiry question: ‘How has democracy changed life in Wales?’ As part of this exciting topic we will be learning about democracy, rights and equality, exploring how the voting system has changed since the 19th century. We’ll discover who had power and who was excluded from decision-making and explore how people challenged unfair rules and fought for greater rights. Together, we will explore how the Chartists campaigned for political reform. Additionally, we will investigate the Rebecca Riots and the Suffragettes with a particular focus on Emmeline Pankhurst, exploring how she became a leading figure. We will discover how the 1918 People Act changed voting rights and finally explore how the Senedd Cymru works today. We will compare changes in democracy and investigate how they have shaped the society we live in today.
