Interdependence – How does the natural world work and connect?’
This term the children will explore living things in the world around them. We will investigate our school and local area, looking at how people, plants and animals grow and change, explore habitats, and understand how seasons change over time.

READING
Please listen to your child read as often as possible, 3 or more times a week would be great! Going over phonic sounds, flash cards or a few pages of a book is best. Our aim is to promote a love of reading. Reading books will be changed on a Monday. New letter sounds and flash cards will be added as and when your child is ready for new ones to practice. Please comment in their reading journals to let us know how they are getting on. Send your child’s reading book and journal to school every day so that they can also read with us during the week. Home learning activities will be sent out at the beginning of each term.
