Our Learning Context

Inquiry Led Learning – Our Home and beyond - What makes places around the world special and unique?

This term, the children will be exploring our new inquiry question: What makes places around the world special and unique? Through this learning, they will be developing their understanding of the world around them by comparing our local area of Haverfordwest with a very different environment — the rainforest.

The children will investigate what makes each place unique, including the landscape, weather, plants and animals, buildings, and how people live. They will explore similarities and differences between our locality and a rainforest, helping them to understand how environments shape the way people live and care for the places around them.
